Being allowed to cross paths with FreeHaul, Christina Davis, and Jessica Brown was clearly the highlight of my ten years as the Executive Director of the Miracles of Hope Network and The Defense Foundation For Children USA.

In 2006 I was approached by a high school in New Orleans to help with their prom for the students who had suffered incredible loss in Hurricane Katrina.

When I said sure, I had no idea what the response was going to be from the public, and each collection seemed to attract attending media with more, and more interest.

Before long we had thousands of gowns and pounds formal wear, with one group alone collecting over 10,000 pounds.

None of this was in our projected antcipated goal or even in our wildest dreams.

The sweet angels of Free Haul saw our plight and took care of every single load.
Instead of helping one high school they allowed us to help a multitude.

I can never convey how much their assistance means to me, and how many students' lives they changed. It is immeasurable.

They alone took this miracle and brought it to life making even my own dreams come true. I remain in awe of their lives and compassion.

They are my heros!!!
